Carnegie Leaders in Learning Partnership has recently been awarded a contract to be the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Centre for TDA Development, supporting the professional development of school staff on behalf of the Training and Development Agency for Schools.

The Northern Partnership
January 2007
The Northern Partnership delivers new leadership programmes in the North on behalf of the NCSL.
Since its formation in September 2006 The Northern Partnership has won contracts to deliver Leading from the Middle, Leadership Pathways and Early Headship Provision in the North of England on behalf of NCSL.
Margaret Christian, Director of Carnegie Leaders in Learning says "The Carnegie partnership is delivering these programmes in Yorshire and Humber and we are delighted to be working with our partners to ensure that learning and progression opportunities are available for all colleagues in schools across the North."

The Carnegie partnership comes into being!
CCDU has joined in a partnership with Leeds Metropolitan University to form Carnegie Leaders in Learning with the aim of being a world class regional centre for professional development in education, leadership and change management. The Carnegie partnership delivers NPQH and NPQICL and team programmes in Yorkshire and Humber.

NPQH Awards form part of Leeds Met Centenary celebrationsr
2007 is a big one for the Headingley Campus of Leeds Metropolitan University who are celebrating 100 years of teacher education. The City of Leeds Teacher Training College was established in 1907, and teacher education is now part of the Carnegie Faculty of Sport and Education at Leeds Met.
Our regional NPQH awards were again part of the graduations on 19th July. This year Steve Munby, Chief Executive of the National College for School Leadership was be present together with the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of Leeds Met.Change at CCDU

CCDU expands, relocates and rebrands after 30 years
After nearly 30 years based at the University of Leeds, CCDU has now relocated to the Headingley campus of Leeds Metropolitan University and occupies Churchwood House and North Lodge, just inside the campus entrance from Church Wood Avenue.
Our team has expanded during the last two years and our school based consultancy team has been developing new products for schools. Last year we gained ISO 9000-2000.
